The Dallas Cowboys Don't Believe In Dak Prescott

There's a trend around the NFL of quarterbacks who've managed to put together an adequate career and thus earning massive contracts and whether or not they're deserving of these paydays is debatable. The fact is, big money is not synonymous with winning when last season you saw several of these quarterbacks sitting out the playoffs with fat paychecks.

Dak Prescott is a challenging case for whether or not he should get the money he thinks he deserves. He didn't hold back recently about what he felt his worth was when he used Tom Brady's wife as an example of how Brady's able to take pay-cuts or restructure his deals with ease. This puts Dallas Cowboys in an interesting place because their EVP, Stephen Jones said to the media the other day that the goal was to find a team friendly deal that's fair to building a supporting cast around Prescott.

Ben Maller makes the case that these comments from Jones confirm that the Cowboys don't entirely believe in Prescott and his body of work is to blame.
