Kawhi Leonard, Not LeBron James, is the NBA's Most Important Player

Kawhi Leonard is the Thanos of the NBA
Colin Cowherd: “Here are two things Kawhi is better than LeBron at. If I need a bucket NOW – I’ll take Kawhi. If I need to shut down the other team's best player NOW – I’ll take Kawhi. Right now, Kawhi is the best ‘get-a-bucket guy’ in this league.” (Full Audio at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Kawhi Leonard has supplanted LeBron James as the NBA’s most important player; I.e. the guy you most want with the ball at the end of a big game and the guy you most rely on to get a huge stop with the score in the balance.

The Clippers took round 1 from the Lakers on opening night in the debut of their highly anticipated neo-rivalry that could be one of the juiciest of the eras if both LeBron and Kawhi stay healthy the next few years.

Leonard was clearly the better player on the floor last night, scoring 30 points on 10/18 shooting, while LeBron scored just 18 on 7/19, and looked stagnant and utterly harmless at times attempting to play point guard for a Lakers team short on creative scorers outside of Anthony Davis.

Check out the audio below as Colin details why Kawhi has taken the torch from LeBron as the league’s most crucial winner.
