MLB Suspends Pirates' Castro 1 Game For Phone Mishap

(Pittsburgh, PA) -- Major League Baseball is punishing a player whose phone fell out of his pocket during a game last week. ESPN reports Pirates' rookie Rodolfo Castro has been suspended one game and fined for the incident. His phone popped out of his back pocket when he slid into third base. The ban stems from violating the league's policy against bringing unapproved electronic devices onto the field. Castro is appealing.
