The Los Angeles Angels have lost superstar slugger Mike Trout to a meniscus injury and he will be out indefinitely, although he is likely to return this season. Doug considers this just another piece of evidence supporting his hypothesis that the team is cursed, and has been since 2002. They’ve had nothing but injuries, heartache and controversy since they won their only World Series Championship.
Doug Gottlieb: “I’m just wondering aloud if, because the Angels dodged the proverbial steroid bullet that Barry Bonds caught, that Mark McGwire caught, that Sammy Sosa caught, that so many others caught; is that the reason they’re cursed today?”
